MADAME LA MERI
FAREWELL APPEARANCE The celebrated international dancer, Madame La Meri, who is to make her farewell appearance in the Town Hall on Thursday, night, will be seen in a number of entirely new presentations in addition to the spectacular "White Peacock" and "Bolero" numbers which created wide interest during the dancer's recent season at His Majesty's Theatre. The "White Peacock" dance in particular is a masterpiece in conception and execution. Described as a musical visualisation of Griffe's work of the same name the interpretation gives an exquisite picture of the bird, Madame La Meri will be supported on Thursday by the artists who appeared with her during her recent Auckland season. Booking arangements are advertised.
