AUCKLAND CITY CLUB The first round in the service shooting championship whs Jield by tho Auckland City Defence Rifio Club at Penrose on Saturday, the practices being five rounds application, five rounds snap-shooting at the full target, ten rounds rapid in 40 seconds and ten rounds at the snap-shooting disc, nil at 300 yards. In all cases the small bullseye and other rings as used at Trenthain wero used, and tho scores wero of a high standard. I. J. Spry registered a fine aggregate of 125, which won him a spoon.
