MADAME LA MERI
/FINAL PERFORMANCE The famous international dancer, La Meri, will make her farewell appearance prior to her departure for Australia in the Town Hall on Thursday night, when she will perform many of the dances which have won her wide popularity in all parts of the world. Madame La Meri's infinite variety, her rich imagination and her delicious humour contribute to her charm, and she dances not only with her body, buti. with her hands, her individual fingers, her expressive eyes and even her long brown hair. These added talents make the perfection of her technique evident to her audience at every performance. That a single artist, with the assistance of three musicians and a second danseuse, can sustain not only the rapt attention and admiration, but the continuous enchantment of an audience for an entire evening .gives some indication of the charming personality and cultured intelligence which inspires, guides and controls every movement of her body.
