KAIPARA HARBOUR
TRANSFER OF OFFICES [BY TELEGRAPH—OWN CORRESPONDENT]' DARGAVILLE, Monday The customs office and harbours master's office for the Kaipara Harbour, which have been for the past 40 years at Te Kopuru, will be transferred to Dargaville in about a month's time. Captain C. V. Stanicli, who has been appointed harbourmaster in succession to Captain J. Mitchell, lately retired, has - taken up his residence in the town. t Captain Stanich was assistant harbourmaster at Waikokopu, Hawke's Bay, at the time of the earthquake. After a period at sea as second officer of the ill-fated steamer Abel Tasman, ho left her to enter the service of the Marino Department as pilot at Westport, whence he was transferred to the Kaipara.
