HARRIER RACING
EVENT IN WELLINGTON The Wesley Harrier Club sent a team of 14 representatives to Wellington during the week-end to compete in the first annual interclub cross-country race with the Wellington Methodist Harrier Club. The Auckland members were outclassed in the championship event, but turned the tables in the handicap event. The course was a strenuous one in the vicinity of Lyal: Bay. Results were: —Championship: I). Walker (Wellington), 1; F. Kerslake (Wellington), 2; K. Ingram (Wellington), 3. Handicap: C. Moore (Auckland). 1; J. Carter (Auckland), 2; C. Smith (Auckland), 3.
