SAFETY ON RAILWAYS
Sir, —Will you allow me space in your paper to suggest a remedy to the Government regarding accidents on the railways caused by slips. I think it would be a good thing to put a married couple at the various signal stations. There are plenty of men ou sustenance that would be glad of the job, and it would help to reduce the unemployed. The line would then be well watched. Waiheke island. J. Moody.
