KING'S SCHOOL
EIGHT SCHOLARSHIPS ST. JOHN'S COLLEGE GRANT Notification has been received by the authorities of King's school, Remuera, from the St. John's College Trust Board, "that the latter has decided to make an annual award of two scholarships, tenable at King's College fcj pupilii of the school. The scholarships will of a value of £45 a year each, and will have a term of four years. This means that eventually, eight scholarships will be held simultaneously^ The school authorities have expressed their appreciation of the trustees' generosity, which strengthens the tie already existing between King's School and its parent institution, Kind's College. -• _ The new headmaster, Mr. J. R. Morris, M.A., lately of Wellingborough College, Northampton, is due at Auckland by the Tamaroa on Friday, snu will take up his duties when the third term opens on September 21. . .
