MISHAP TO MINISTER
CAR LEAVES THE ROAD [by TELEGRAPH —PItF.SS association] '• FOXTON, Monday A motor-car containing the Minister of Finance, tho Hon. W. ■ Nash, and IVlrs. Nash, on route from Wellington to Bulls, left a llood-inundated road at Whirokino evening and became stuck In a swamp. Fortunately the. mishap . was not - of a serious nature, and the occupants obtained a lift into Foxton, where they were picked up by Mr. Ormond Wilson, M.P., with whom* they intended staying.
