KETCH IDLE HOUR
ARRIVAL AT SINGAPORE (Received September 6, 5.5 p.m.) SINGAPORE, Sept. 5 The American ketch Idle Hour arrived at Singapore to-day after a good trip from Sourabaya, Java,' and will be staying about a month. The Aucklander Mr. Ivan Palmer, formerly a member of the crew, is remaining indefinitely at Singapore. He has obtained a position on the editorial staff of tho Straits Times. Mr. Palmer was a member of the reporting staff of the New Zealand Herald when he joined the Idle Hour, and ho left Auckland as one of her crew
