H.M.S. DUNEDIN IN DOCK H.M.B. Duncdin was docked on Saturday morning for cleaning and painting. PORT HUNTER BAILED The Port Line steamer Port Hunter completed loading at Queen's Wharf and sailed for London 011 Saturday morning. THE GABRIELLA The Gabriella will leave Grafton for Coff's Harbour, Port Steohflns and Newcastle 011 j Wednesday to complete loading for Auckland and Wellington. Bhc is expected to clear Newcastle on September 15. THE PORT HOBART In continuation of her voyage from Liverpool the Port Line motor-snip Port Hobart is expected to sail for Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin about five o'lock this evening. WANGANELLA LEAVES SYDNEY The Wanganclla left Sydney for Auckland on Saturday afternoon. The vessel is due on Uednesday morning, and sho will sail for Sydney, 011 Friday afterncon. NIAGARA AT SYDNEY The Royal Mail liner Niagara arrived at Sydney from Auckland on Saturday morning. The vessel will leave Sydney on Thursday and Auckland the lollowing Tuesday for Suva, Honolulu and Vancouver. STEAMER AUHETTA DELAYED The steamer Aurctta has been delayed by stormy weather and she is now due from Ocean Island to-morrow. She has a cargo of Phosphates for discharge at Auckland and wangauui. H.M.S. ACHILLES ARRIVED H.M.S. Achilles arrived from the Mediterranean yesterday morning and berthed at Calliopo Wharf, Devonport. She will be stationed in New Zealand in pla9e of the cruiser Diomede, now in England. CARGO PROM JAPAN Due from Jaoan, via Southern ports, early this morning the Canberra Maru will berth at Queen's Wharf to discharge and load. She is to sail for Japan, via Sydney and Brisbane, this evening. CARGO FROM THE EAST The Narbada arrived from Calcutta, Penang, Singapore 2<nd Samarang on Saturday morning and berthed at Prince's Wharf. She is to sail about Wednesday for Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin and Bluff to complete discharge. THE OLIYEBANK After replenishing her oil fuel bunkers at Western Wharf on liiaturday the Bank Line motor-ship Olivebank sailed for Nauru Island in the afternoon to load another phosphate cargo. AORANGI AT VANCOUVER The Royal Mail liner Aorangi arrived at Vancouver at seven o'clock on Friday morning. The vessel is t<;> sail or Wednesday for Auckland and Sydney, via Honolulu and Suva. She is due at Auckland on September 27. NAPIER STAR'S ITINERARY

The Blue Star Line steamer Napier Star, which left Liverpool for New Zealand in ballast on August '23, is due at Gisborne on September 29 to commence loading. Her other loading ports are Napier, Timaru, Wellington, New Plymouth and Auckland. She is scheduled to reach Auckland on October 11 and to sail for London .via Cape Horn, on October 37. RANGITANE DISCHARGING To complete unloading general merchandise from London the New Zealand Shipping Company's motor-liner Rangitane arrived from Wellington yesterday morning and berthed at Prince's Wharf. She is to sail on Wednesday night for Lyttelton and Wellington to load. Sho will complete loading at Auckland and will sail from here for London, via Panama, on September 24. DIRECT SERVICE TO JAPAN Russell and Soniers. Limited, have received advice that the Tamashita Risen Kaisha Company has arranged for its steamers to proceed from New Zealand to JaDan direct, instead of via Australia, as at present The direct service will commence with the steamer Manju Maru. After the vessel discharges and loads at Auckland, she will sail on October IS for Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin, thence direct to Japan. This will give exporters a direct service of about 22 days to Japai, the final New Zealand port in most cases being Dunedin. NORTHERN COMPANY'S VESSELS The Waiotahi was despatched for Awanni on Saturday and she is scheduled to leave Auckland for Tauranga on Wednesday. When the Claymore returns from Whangarci to-night she will be withdrawn for overhaul. She will resume running in the Whamrarei service on Tuesday, September 15. The Motu is to sail for Whangarci at 4 p.m. tomorrow in place of the Claymore. i The Toa is to Heave for Whakatane and the Otimai for Opotiki at 4 p.m. to-day. The Northern Company will' run a special trip to Coromandel on Friday, leaving Auckland at 10.30 p.m., with Coromandel old boys. Sho will leave Coromandel for Auckland at four o'clock on Sunday afternoon.
