FIVE O'CLOCK RUSH
Sir, —The new working hours are increasing the congestion of tram and motor traffic at the foot of Queen Street (its narrowest part) between 5 and 5.45 on every week-day. To reduce the time taken in loading passengers at this point and expedite clearance of trains, I would suggest that tram passengers for Heme Bay, Richmond Road, Pamell, Remucra, Victoria Avenue and Great South Road should bo allowed to embark at Swanson Street without extra charge. J hat should ease the congestion at Customs Street a very great deal. Five 0 Clock.
