CELEBRATED DANCER
FINAL LOCAL APPEARANCE Considerable interest is being taken in the farewell performance at the Town Hall on September 17 of the celebrated international artist, La Mori, who recently achieved an outstanding success in Auckland by her perfect artistry in a number of brilliant and picturesque dances. The booking was very heavy* for her hist performance at His Majesty 1 s Theatre, which had to be abandoned because of an accident from which La Meri has now thoroughly recovered. The majority of those who had booked seats for that occasion have transferred thoir bookings to the plans for the approaching performance at the Town Hall, where accommodation is likely to be taxed to its capacity when La Meri makes her final appearance. For this performance La Meri will appear in a number of special international feature dances, none of which has previously been witnessed iii Auckland, and in addition she will present those dances which proved most popular during her recent season, including " The White Peacock " and " Bolero." La Meri will be supported for her farewell appearances by the artists who were associated with her during her recent Auckland Beason. La Meri will appear at the Theatre Royal, Hamilton, this evening.
