TOUR OF AUSTRALIA VICE-CAPTAIN NOT CHOSEN (Received September 3, 5.35 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 3 Commenting on the Marylebone cricket "team to tour Australia, Mr. P. F. Warner stated to-day that the selectors were not choosing a vice-captain, but leaving the captain, G. 0. Allen, to select his own deputy.
According to the Daily Sketch the choice obviously will fall on Wyatt or Robins. This paper considers that the Marylebone Club has made a .grave error in not settling such an important' point before the departure of the team.
