LEAGUE OF MOTHERS
Ponsonby.—The monthly meeting of the Ponsonby branch was held on Wednesday, Mrs. S. 0. English presiding. Among those present were members of the Lower Hutt, Knrori, Wangnnui, Hotorua and Hamilton branches. Mrs. Maungatai Bahington pave an interesting address on the Maoris, past and present, their problems, progress, etc. During the afternoon vocal solos were rendered by Miss Renner and elocutionary items by Master Bruce McKinney. Mrs. English gave the thought for the month.
