THE WHANGAREI TEAM [from our own correspondent] WHANGAREI, Thursday The following have been' chosen as the Whangarei A representative hasketball team in matches against Matamata and Auckland on Saturday:—Defence, V. Smeai, A. Whitehouse, N. Lacey; centres, C. Bosselman, P. Wilson, D. Durham; goalers, G. Cunis, N. James, R. Ansell. The B representative team will travel to Okaihau on September 12 to play Okaihau and will comprise:—Defence, P. Cook A. Cochrane, G. Goodhue; centres, M. Spring, M. Garry, R. Pitman; goalers, L. Hooper, J. Shankland, M. Gilbert.
