FALSE ORDER MADE
REDIRECTION OF MAIL 44 DUE TO FIT OF JEALOUSY " A middle-aged man, Henry Alfred Holden (Mr. Aekins), appeared on summons in the Police Court yesterday, charged with making a false mail redirection order.
Eric Turner, a postman at Kingsland, said that on July 14 ho received a redirection order requiring that correspondence addressed to a woman at Dominion Road should be sent to another address. Tho order was signed with the woman's name.
Detective Waterson gave evidence that accused had gone to the police station, where ho admitted signing the woman's name to the redirection order. He expressed regret for his action. Mr. Aekins referred to accused's previous association with tho woman, stating that his action utis due to a fit of jealousy. Accused pleaded guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence, bail of £2O being allowed. On a charge of using indecent language in Dominion Road, he was ordered to appear for sentence when called upon.
