SOCIAL AT WAIHEKE
To defray expenses for the official opening of the new school at Hui Bay, Waiheke, which is fco be performed on September 19 by Mr. F. W. Schramm, M.P., a social evening, at which over £7 was raised, was held in the Oneroa ball on Saturday. An enjoyable programme was presented by Mr. A. V. Bolfe, Mrs. Miller, Miss Gloria lo Rein and Miss Laurel Bath, and supper was served -by the ladies' committee. The function was arranged by Messrs. R. Sadlier, A. Gillespie and W. R. Wright. Mr. H. Johnson acted as M.C.
