MISSING WOMAN'S DEATH
BODY FOUND IN A DAM TRAGEDY IN VICTORIA (Received August- 10, 8.5 p.m.) MELBOURNE, August 10 The police are investigating the death of Miss Adelaide Bek, aged 50, whose body was found to-day in a dam eight miles from Allendale in the Ballarat district. It is believed that the woman was murdered. A post-mortem examination indicated that death was not due to drowning but to head injuries.
Tho woman had been missing for three weeks.
