CAMBRIDGE TEAM HONOURED [by tet.eoraph—OWN correspondent] CAMBRIDGE. Saturday It was disclosed at a special meeting of the Cambridge Polo Club last evening that arrangements were being mado for tho Cambridge polo team, which won tho Saville Cup at Feilding this year, to represent tho North Island at next year's tournament at rhristchiirch. Thn members of the team are C. G. Vosper (captain), R. Nolan, K. Peake and R. Peako. Initiative in financing the visit to Christchurch belonged to (lie president of the New Zealand Polo Association. Mr. R. L. Levin, of Feilding, who had informed tho captain of the team that sufficient money was forthcoming to pay for the transport of 25 ponies from Cambridge to Christchureh and back. Tho club would have to arrango for the personal expenses of the players. The president of the Cambridge Club, Mr. W. A. Fisher, said that it was a great honour to the club to be asked to represent tho North Island against the South. He would not like to sco the trip to Christchureh cost the individual members of the team anything. On the motion of the president It was decided to write to Mr. Levin expressing appreciation of the interest ho was taking in the project. A committee of members was appointed to investigate the question of raising the necessary money to pay tho players' expenses.
