CHURCH PARADE

Members of the Auckland Presbytorinn Bible Class Harrier Club gathered at St. David's Presbyterian Church last night for their fourth annual church parade. The Rev. W. Bower Black conducted the service, two members of the club read the Scriptures and a solo was sung by Mr. G. Morton Smith, the club vice-president. In his sermon Mr. Black compared the positive note of Christ's teachings with the negative aspect of the Ten Commandments, and said that many people misconstrued the religious life as being a series of prohibitions, which made them regard it with suspicion.
