PIRATE SHIP
The Pirate Ship presented a very animated scene on Saturday night at the carnival "old-time" dance, which was hold there. The stage was arranged to represent a Punch and Judy show, and the colour scheme was carried out in crimson and gold. The adventures of the famous couple wore illustrated with cutout figures on miniature stages. The cubicles were also adorned with Punch and Judy "cut-outs" and quaint Punchinello dolls were distributed to the dancers. An enjoyable programme of da nee music was rendered by the Pirate Ship band, the numbers being enthusiastically encored by the largo number of people present.
