AUCKLAND GUN CLUB The Auckland Gun Club held its monthlv merfing on its grounds at Pakuranga on Saturday. before a large attendance. Result" were as follows: Two-bird Eyeopener.—L. Bedford, ldvds, uas the only one to shoot the possible, while D. Ewing. 20.vds. S. Roberts, 20yds, A. V. Wright. 10yds. W. Turner, 18yds, C. Ilodge. 17vds, and Francis, 18yds, tied for second place. Seven-bird Handicap Match.—This drew a field of 20, and the following shot six birds and divided the sweepstakes:—A. V. Wright, 17.vds, E. J. Schofield. I7,vds, S. Roberts. 10yds, R. I) Wright. 17yds. Ten-bird Handicap Match, for trophy presented by Mr T J. Watts.—Francis, 20.vd.-i. R Xehoff 22yds, 0. Hodge, 22yds, K. J. Schofield, 25yds, and G. Beach, 24yds, all shot nine birds and divided the sweepstake and the trophy. Five-bird First-miss-out Match.—D. Ewing, 27yds. arid G. Peach, 23yds, each shot the possible and t;hided the sweepstakes.
