STRUCK BY TRUCK

ROYAL OAK ACCIDENT Struck by a motor-truck in Manukau Road, near the corner of Tauraina Road, Royal Oak, Patricia Lindsay, aged seven, of 2;J Bcckenham Avenue, was injured about 4.25 on Friday afternoon. A woman who witnessed the accident took the little girl to a neighbouring chemist. She was later taken to a doctor and had several stitches inserted in a wound in her forehead. She was able to go home later. The truck was travelling toward Onohunga, and for some reason, possibly because he was not aware of tho accident, the driver did not stop. The police are anxious to get into touch with either the woman who took the child to tho chemist or tho driver.
