FURTHER FROSTS OCCUR
KAIKOHE TAPS FROZEN SURPRISE FOR RESIDENTS Another hard frost was experienced in most parts of the province yesterday morning, although generally it was not as severe as that of Monday. Even tho Far North has suffered during the recent cold snap, and on the past three mornings Kaikohe experienced tho heaviest frosts for the past 15 years. .Taps were frozen and residents "state that this has not been known to have occurred previously. So severe were the frosts at Wliangnrci on tho last two mornings that work on the new Victoria Bridge at the Town Wharf has been delayed for about an hour each day whilo tho water supply pipes to tho concrete hiixcr have been thawed over fires
