AUCKLAND UNION JUNIOR MANAGEMENT BOARD TEAM TO VISIT PAEROA Arrangements in connection with the visit of a junior representative team to Paeroa next Saturday were finalised at last evening's meeting of the junior management board of tho Auckland Rugby Union. JVir. A. Craig was appointed manager of tho Auckland team. It was decided to thank the To Puke Union for tho hospitality extended to the Auckland junior representatives during their recent visit. The third grade team of tho Grammar Old Boys' Club was granted permission to travel to Waiuku on August It was resolved to debit the Parnell fifth grade team with a loss owing to its action in playing an over-weight player against Manukau on July 4. Tho following transfers wero approved:— W. Larking, Pctone (Wellington) to Manukau; A Dado, Panmure to Manukau. With tho exception of grade or section finals, the committee decided to iiostpone all games on August the date of the match between Australia and Auckland. NEW SOUTH WALES TEAM DOMINION OFFER ACCEPTED (Received August <l, 5.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, August 4 The New South Wales Rugby Union decided to-day not to take a baggage-man with the Australian team to New Zealand in accordance with the New Zealand Union's offer. WAIIII UNION DISPUTE NEW ELECTED [BY TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] WAIIII, Tuesday Following tho resignation en bloc last Monday evening of the management committee of the Waihi Rugby Union because of the refusal of the representative players to use the m<«»ns of transport arranged to take them to Te Arolia to play a match against To Aroha representatives, a -meeting was held last evening for the purpose of electing a new committee. The president of the union, Mr. R. Walsh, presided. Delegates were present from High School Old Boys, Convent Old Boys and Mataura Clubs. The election resulted: —Secretary, Mr. E. Furey; junior treasurer, Ji*. L. Graham; chairman of the management committee, Mr. J. McDermott; management committee. Messrs. W. Tanner, T. Fry, P. O'Neill, E. J. Marryatt, T. McNamara, W. Parr, B. Wallnutt and 0. Burt; selector. Mr. A. D. McDell. On taking the chair, Mr. McDermott thanked tho clubs for returning him to office and asked for harmony between the committee, the clubs and players in the interests of football. He congratulated the outgoing officers on the manner in which they had conducted the union's affairs and on the sound financial position It was most unfortunate, ho said, that the difference which had resulted in their resignations had occurred.
