HORTICULTURE SHOW
The second monthly exhibition by members of the Waitemata Horticultural Society was held at Birkenhead last night. The judge was Mr. I). P. O'Learv, whose awards were: —Mosdames N. J. Campbell, A. E. Henley, J. Prickett, C. M. Burton, A. Harrison, S. Mills, A. R. Shutes, Dr. C. Parr and Mr. A- E. Harding, 8 points each; Mrs. Frith and Miss Geddes, 7 points; Mesdarnes J. L. Hanna, J. Prescott, H. N, Leefe, J. Major and Mr. H. N. Leefe, 6 points; Mesdames D. P. O'Learv, F. G. Blackwell, J. Barrott, C. Williams, N. It. Stewart and A. Cole, 5 points. The possible aggregate was 10 points. An address on "Landscape Gardening" was given by the president, Mr; J. L. Hanna.
