SUSPENSION OF PLAYER Arising out of an incident which occurred in one of the dressing rooms after a recent senior match at .Carlaw Park, as. a result of which a member of the Newton team was suspended until the end of the 1937 season, -- and a Devonport player was exonerated from blame, a number of players and supporters of the Newton Rugby Leaguo Club attended a special meeting at the Y.M.C.A. last evenins, called for the purpose of discussing what action the club intends to take in the matter. The discussion was taken in committee, and it was also decided to reserve the decision arrived at for submission to the management committee of the Auckland Rugby League at its next meeting.
