FAREWELL PRESENTATION
A very pleasant function took place at Te Whaiti Native School,\ Urewera country, recently, when the pupils of the school bade farewell to Miss Myrtle Gapes, .a member of the staff, who was leaving to be married. Miss Gapes, who had been several years at the school, was presented by the school prefects on behalf of tho scholars with a gift of cutlerv and a set of seagrass fireside furniture, the latter being a product of the school workshops.
