HORTICULTURAL SHOW
WAITEMATA SOCIETY Tho first monthly exhibition for members was held by the Waitemata Horticultural Society last night. Mr. J. H. Braithwaite gave a talk on "Daffodil Culture." The members' competition included vegetables, fruit, flowers, decorations and pot plants. The possible aggregate was 10 points, and the awards arc: —Mesdames A. Harrison, J. Major, C. M. Burton, D. P. O'Leary, N. J. Campbell, H. N. Leefe, Mr. H. N. Leefe, eight points each; Mesdames J. L. Hanna, G. Mills, J. Prickett, Prescott, A. E. Henley, six points; Mrs. F. G. Blackwell and Miss R Bodle, fiv*» points.
