SELECTION OF SCULLERS BRITISH REPRESENTATIVES (Receiver! July 12, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, July 11 J. Bercsford and H. Southwood have boon selected to represent Britain in the doubles sculls at the Olympic Games in Berlin. Bercsford thus completes a remarkable record of participating in five OlyAipiads. Ho won tho singles sculls at Paris in 1924, and assisted to win tho fours (without a coxswain) at Los Angeles in 15)32. BERLIN 1 PREPARING SCHEME OF DECORATIONS ORDERS TO HOUSE OWNERS BERLIN, July 10 The renovation and decoration of the Berlin Town Hall for the forthcoming Olympiad, to bo opened on August 1, is to be completed to-day. Flagpoles to the number of 53 have been erected at tho entrance, each bearing tho flag of a competing nation. The Lord Mayor has ordered all house owners on Thursday to see that tho facades of all buildings in West Berlin, even in side streets, are decorated with tho Nazi swastika and the Olympic flags, also flowers and greenery, "in a manner worthy of Herr Hitler's Germany."
