CHARITABLE BEQUESTS
GIFT TO CHILDREN'S HOME The claims of the Richmond Road Children's Homo are recognised, in the will that has been left by Mrs. Ellen Georgiana Ponsford, of Auckland, whose death occurred on April 9. An annual sum of £lO is left to the trustees or managers of the home, and then on the termination of certain life interests £2OOO is to be handed over for the general purposes of the home. For purposes of probate the estate has been valued at under £4500. Several bequests to branches or activities of the Society of Friends in New Zealand are provided for under the will of* Mrs. Bertha Harle, of Auckland, who died on June 6. Sums of £5 are left to each of the following:— The Auckland Society of Friends' monthly meeting, the Wanganui Friends' School, the Friends' Service Council, and the New Zealand Society of Friends' general meeting fund, and a sum of £2 to the New Zealand Friends' News Letter. The estate has been valued for purposes of probate at under £I2OO.
