AUCKLAND ORPHANS' CLUB
Tho official guests of the Auckland Orphans' Club on Saturday night wore tho members of tho executives of the Mirkenhead-Northcoto and Papakura Orphans' Clubs. The respective presidents, Messrs. J. W. Letlibridgo and \V. Heald, responded on behalf of their clubs to the welcome extended. The chairman, Mr. R. Mowcy Walker, vifro-presidont, taining talk on "Laughter." The secretary, Mr. 8. O. Clark, stated that arrangements had been finalised for the combiued rally of the orphans' clubs of the province, to be held at the Auckland Town Hall on September 5. An enjoyable programme included selections by the orchestra, under Mr. Harold Baxter.
