CHARGE OF THEFT
A charge of stealing an overcoat worth £5 5s and 7s in money was preferred against Wilfred Henry Arnold Cronin, labourer, aged 24, who appeared in tho Police Court on Saturday. Accused was represented by Mr. Noble, who entered a plea of not guilty. Sub-Inspector Fox said he had understood accused was admitting tho charge and asked for a remand so that evidence could bo called. Accused was remanded until July 18.
