SUNKEN DREDGE
RECOVERY AT THAMES [BY TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT J THAMES, Friday The Public Works dredge which 6anlC at its moorings in a recent storm has been hauled nearer the Burke Strec wharf. It is full of silt and the tidal influx of salt water will have a harmful effect on the machinery. It is hoped within a few days to have the dreflfi o placed in water shallow enough to permit of its being pumped out, so that the machinery can be overhauled.
