FACE POWDER GUIDE
Make a careful choico when you buy face powder, for you are going to use it every day and the right shade is important. For fair skins the lightest and.finest powders arc needed; shades of l'.aturelle are good; for evenings an orchid shade is charming or a dust of pale green. Avoid powders with a mnuvish tint in their colouring. For pale and shallow skins the ivorytinted rachel shade is right for creamy skins; and for evening banana tint, or the lettuce-green colour which makes this type of skin look beautifully transparent. Dark skin needs poach, dark rose and apricot shades. To lighten dark skin use a darkish powder and a lighter one over it. For evenings use pale mauve-coloured powder.
