Mrs. Raymoud Troup, of Mount Eden, will leave by ijhe Wauganella next Tuesday for a mouth's holiday in Sydney and Melbourne*.

Mrs. Steele, Willis Street, Wellington, is visiting Aucklmud, and is the guest, of her daughter, Mrs. Claude Newton, of Papaloetoe.

Mrs. J. Barns-Gralham and Miss Bunty Barns-Graham, of Gisborne, will leave' Wellington by tbo Ruahine on July 15 to visit England.

Mrs. Percy El worthy, Gordon's Valley, Soutli Canterbury, will leave England on July 23 by the Rangitane on her return to Now Zealand.

Lady Wilford, who lias been spending several years in England, will return to Now Zealand Iby tho Akaroa. arriving in Wellington on July 17.

Miss Mary Griffin, of Brooklyn, New York, was "a visitor to Auckland yesterday by tho Montere;?. She is spending a holiday in New Zealand and Australia.

Miss J. Dunlop, Toiaga Bay, Gisborne, who has been the guest of Mrs. J. Russell, Victoria Avenue, Remuera, for several weeks, will return home on Monday.

Miss E. Partridge, Epsom Avenue, who has been staying with Mrs. Clayton at Vancouver Island for some months, returned home by the Monterey yesterday.

Mrs. E. Woolcott Fiwbes, of Sydney, passed through Auckhmd yesterday by the Monterey after three weeks' holiday in Honolulu. She is accompanied by Mrs. C. K. Maqce.

Returning to Melbourne after a honeymoon visit to the United States, Mr. and Mrs Dalzieil Mein passed through Auckland yesterday by the Monterey Mrs Mem well known in Australia for her work in films and on the stn-ge. Before her marriage she was Miss Kathleen Rhys .ilones, the only daughter of Mrs Norinan Kirton, of Perth. As Margot Mrs. Mein has appeared in n number of Australianmade films. She played ,the leading role in "Heritage" and star fieri in M. Charlo* Chauvel's new film, "Uncivilised," recently made in Sydney.

A bridge and fivo hrfndred social was held by the members of the Pnpatootoe M.U.1.0.0.F. this wen'k in the Renown Ha!!, about 20 tables being occupied.
