ACTIVE COMPETITION CROSSBREDS FREELY BOUGHT LONDON, July !> At the London wool sales to-day 10,117 bales were ollered, including; 6578 New Zealand, and 8689 were sold. The selection was good, consisting largely of New Zealand crossbreds. Competition was active, and the bulk of the offerings sold to the home trade at prices favouring sellers. NATIONAL BANK DIVIDEND The National Bank of New Zealand. Limited, final dividend of 2 per cent, which is due to-day, will be payable in New Zealand at any branch of the bank at current rate of exchange for demand drafts on London on the date of negotiation. The total dividend for the year is 4 per cent, which, with the exchange added, will give the shareholder in New Zealand a return of £1 18s I Oil per cent. The bank shows its capital anil reserves as lollows: —Subscribed capital, £6,000,000; paid capital, £2,000,000; reserve fund (invested in Government securities), £l,000,U0o; currency reserve (invested in Government securities), £">00,000; reserve liability of shareholders, £6.000,000.
