SCANDAL IN TOKIO
ALLEGED CORRUPTION OFFICIALS AT ARSENAL (Received July 7, 5.25 p.m.) Times Cable LONDON, July 7 The Japanese War Office, says the Tokio correspondent of the Times, announces that Lieutenant - General Uemura, formerly commander of the arsenal, and Fumio Nishiyama, engineer, will be tried by court-martial on a charge of accepting bribes from merchants. The former is accused of accepting £2500.
