L THE AUCKLAND EXCHANGE • COLONIAL SUGARS ADVANCE With only one issue showing a decline • n dealing, there was a firm and steady tone on the Auckland Stock Exchange vesterday. A feature of business was tho continued improvement in Colonial gucars, which moved up 15s to £-13 15s. ?S*o Government loans were offered. Banks were steady, current level sales being made in Australasias, Unions and Xew Zenlauds. More of the latter were available at the selling price of -lis 9d. Goldsbrough-Mort were stronger and Dominion Breweries gained 3d and 6d in dealing at 2tis and 26s 3d. Broken Hills advanced 3d to 73s 9d, and Dun-lop-Perdriau and Hume Pipo (Australia), both showed a rise of Gd. Levels for Dominion Fertiliser were lifted Gd to 255. Business in Farmers' Trading. Peters Ice Cream and Robinson 100 Cream 'was done unchanged. The only loss was sutiered by General Industries, which dropped back Sd to 19s 9d since the last transfer in December.
