NORTHERN SUCCESSES HIGHEST GRADING POINTS WEDDEL AND HARDLEY CUPS Tho results of tho dairy factory competitions for tho Wedclel Cup and the Hardley Cup, have been announced by tho Auckland Agricultural and Pastoral Association. The Weddel Cup is awarded for tho highest average points for butter graded at Auckland during the period from August 1, 1935, to June 30 of this year, and tho Hardle.v Cup for the highest averago points for cheese graded at Auckland during tho same period. North Auckland factories proved successful in the Weddel Cup contest, results of which are:—Rodney Co-opera-tive Dairy Company, Warkworth, 91.283 points, 1; Ruawai Co-operative Dairy Company, Ruawai, 91.195 points, 2; Northern Wairoa Co-operative Dairy Company, Kirikopuni, 93.941 points, 3. The Waikato and Bay of Plenty prevailed in the Hardle.v Cup contest, which resulted as follows: —Bruntwood Co-operative Dairy Company, Bruntwood, 92.4-18 points, 1; Hauraki Plains Co-operative Dairy Company, Turua, 92.308 points, 2; Waimana Co-opera-tive Dairy Company, Waimana, 92.211 points; 3. The cups are usually presented during the Auckland Winter Exhibition, and it is proposed to perform tho ceremony at the show next week.
