PERSONNEL CURTAILED A SHORTAGE OF FUNDS NEW YORK, July 6 The American Olympic Committee yesterday voted for the first time in favour of cuts in the athletic personnel owing to a shortage in its funds of 150,000 dollars. Those affected are they;, women's track and field teams and the)'?fencing and hockey teams. Forty staterooms also have been cancelled on the liner Manhattan, on which the sports units will sail on July 15.
