LOCAL BODY STAFFS
INQUIRY BY MINISTER

The Minister of Labour, the Hon. H. T. Armstrong, is taking steps to investigate statements that some country local bodies are discharging men in anticipation of certain legislation, and that in some cases tenders are being called from ordinary working men for regular county work done by local bodies.
