BODY-LINE BOWLING
NOTTS BARRACKERS G. 0. ALLEN ACCUSED LONDON, July 5 When playing for Middlesex in a cricket match against Notts, at Trent Bridge, on Saturday, G. 0. Allen (the English test captain) was barracked by the Notts crowd, which accused him of body-line bowling when Kccton, in defending himself from a "bumper," was caught in the slips.
Harold Larwood. whose style of bowling first caused the body-line controversy, and W. Voce, who also was involved in the discussions, are members of the Notts team.
