Five arrests and the recovery of 200,000 dollars worth of stolen American Treasury notes were effected at the week-end by agents of the New York Department of Justice after working for more than a year on bond thefts aggregating 2,000,000 dollars. Various charges against the arrested men now total 16, and the value of the loot recovered amounts to 1,000,000 dollars.
