HAMILTON INTERESTS

ST. Al DAN'S DANCE The St. Aidan's Social Club held a successful dance in the Masonic Hall, Hamilton, on Saturday night, when streamers and autumn foliage made attractive decorations. The hostesses were: —Mrs. W. H. Blakcway and Mrs. W. M. Smallfield. The former wore black Venetian lace and the latter black satin beaute and lace. The committee comprised:—Miss Cathie Speight, who wore a frock of violet crepe eioque; Miss Elsie Strang, black tulip taffeta; Miss Gwen Snell, maize-coloured satin beaute; Miss Moya Forster, turquoise blue Uoral chiffon. The supper room was artistically arranged with bowls of Iceland poppies, violets and snowdrops. An exhibition of tap dancing was given by Mr. and Mrs. J. Tapp. The hostesses were:—Mrs. Rigbv Lister, who wore ivory satin, and Miss Carswcll, who was in nigger brown crepe and a velvet coatee. The committee comprised:— Miss I. Mayall, Miss M.'Saxton, Miss E. Cain, Miss S. Morgan, Miss L. O'Hearn, Miss L. Frandi, Miss B. O'Hearn.
