RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES AUCKLAND BRANCH OFFICERS Satisfaction with the statement of tho Prime Minister, Mr. Savage, that the Government had no intention of interfering in any way with the rights and privileges of superannuitants was expressed by Mr. J. Caughley at the annual meeting of the Auckland branch of the Superannuated Public Servants' Association. Tribute was paid to the faithful service rendered to the association as secretary by the lato Mr. \V. McNickle. Mr. M. Gut hi •ie was elected president for the 17th consecutive year, and other officers were appointed as follows: Vice-president, Mr. J. Caughley; secretary, Mr. Arthur Graham; treasurer, Mr. G. .Teaks; committee, Messrs. F. Fieldsetul, J W. Smith, and J. Dean: auditor, Mr. A. J. C. Hall.
