Lancashire in its first innings made 435 for tho loss of eight wickets. The chief scorers wero J. L. Hopwood 55, C. Washbrook 113, "N. Oldfield 107 and W. H. L. Lister 50.

Marylebone: First innings, lf><(Woollor five for 77); second, five for 33 (Wooller four for 36). The match was drawn. GLAMORGAN V. YORKSHIRE Glamorgan: First innings, 140 (Verity seven for 35); second, 'five for 83. Yorkshire: First innings, six for 150. declared. Yorkshire won on the first innings. GLOUCESTERSHIRE V. LANCASHIRE Gloucestershire: First innings, 138 (Hammond 65); second, 214. Lancashire: First innings, 45 (Goddard six for 15, Sinfield four for three); second, 132 (Goddard five for 57). Gloucestershire won by 175 runs.
WARWICKSHIRE V. NORTHANTS Warwickshire: First innings, seven for 254, declared (Hill 147 not out). Northamptonshire: First innings, 87 (Mayer five for 19). Warwickshire won on tho first innings. SUSSEX V. KENT Sussex: First innings, 187 (Freeman five for 71). Kent: First innings, three for 261 (Ashdown 120 not out). Kent w<vn on the first innings. DERHYSIIIRE V.
