DANCE AT OPOTIKI
The Catholic Masquerade Ball, held in the Lyric.Hall, Opotiki, on Tliursduv night, attracted a record attendance. Many of tho dancers were in fancy costumes, which included a number of very original settings. Tho judges, who had a very difficult undertaking awarded tho prizes to G. and M. Shalfoon, attired as "culinary cadets," and Mr. and Mrs. Bramley, as Mexicans. Miss Mary Berridge secured the prize for the most original costume, her representation being "Tho Press." Popular dance music was supplied by the Semla Orchestra.
