Nicholas beat T. G. do Clivo Lowe in the third round for the captain's prize. The four-hall aggregate Stahleford competition resulted in a tie between 11. AA'ehb and H. W. Kirkby and It. Durham and It. Nicholas with a score of 50. Webb and Kirkby won on the count back.
