STRATEGIC AIR BASES

The War Department announces plans lor the construction of eight strategic air bases, including one near Fairbanks, Alaska, capable of handling tho concentration in 24 hours at tho general headquarters of the Air Force of 1000 aeroplanes. A board of officers to survey the Alaskan project has been appointed.
